Some weeks ago I organized the 3rd intensive week of the project  Erasmus + EIPTE (Entrepreneurship in Initial Primary Teacher Education). I admit that it took me so long, much longer than I hoped for, but it helped me realize what organizing a week like this means and that if you believe that you can and you make an effort to do so, everything is possible. Besides, the results were worth it, the atmosphere was even more and the company was excellent. I want to use this post to thank the people who have supported us and have made this week to be considered a success (they know who they are). I also want to present you the numbers and data that reflect a part of what the week of the 1st to the 5th of April has meant for the entrepreneurial education and the training of teacherpreneurs (in this occasion, students from the degree of Primary Education of 6 institutions, included the University of Deusto). I wish we keep having these opportunities because entrepreneurship, education and the children of primary school deserve it.

If you want to know more about the challenges presented and faced by students, here you have a document (in Basque and Spanish) that has been the base for their selection from the participating schools.

CHALLENGES

CHALLENGE 1 – DIGITAL STANDARDISATION

How could teachers, students, and families master digital competence to improve the teaching-learning process, incorporating information and communication technologies as an educational tool and not as an end in themselves?

How could teachers train students to be more responsible in the use of information on the internet and social media?

CHALLENGE 3 – DEEP AND FLEXIBLE LEARNING

How could teachers manage to achieve deep, meaningful, continuous and flexible learning?

CHALLENGE 4 – EVALUATE TO LEARN

How could teachers convert the evaluation into the cornerstone on which learning is based, distinguishing it from ranking and making it the axis on which teachers program and work?

CHALLENGE 5-TEACHING STAFF: FACILITATOR, MULTIDISCIPLINARY, PROFESSIONAL AND FLEXIBLE

How could we ensure that teachers who have traditionally been trained from the teaching paradigm assume their new role as facilitators and guides of the teaching-learning process of the students (the real protagonists)?

CHALLENGE 6- FAMILIES ALLIED WITH THE PROJECT

How could we involve the entire Educational Community, especially families, in the teaching-learning process?
