The international consortium embraces ten institutions: three EU universities \u2013 University of Deusto, University of Cyprus, and AGH University of Science and Technology; six Ukrainian universities &#8211; Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky State Pedagogical University named after Gregory Skovoroda, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, and Quality Ukrainian as a quality assessment institution.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:post-content -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>MoPED aims at modernizing curricula for Pedagogical Schools of Ukraine by incorporating novel courses of modern ICT teaching tools and inquiry methods. By answering the contemporary challenges and requirements and supporting ambitious large-scale educational reforms in Ukraine, the project will impact the quality of pedagogical higher education and enhance digital and didactic competences of future school teachers.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"customTextColor\":\"#060fe5\",\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p style=\"color:#060fe5\" class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">The main\nobjectives of the project are:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:image {\"id\":2897,\"align\":\"right\",\"width\":258,\"height\":171} -->\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/aprender-ensenar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2897\" width=\"258\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1-640x427.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1-960x640.jpg 960w, https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1-480x320.jpg 480w, https:\/\/blogs.deusto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/10\/Photo1-1.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 258px) 100vw, 258px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n<!-- \/wp:image -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li> <strong>To create and accredit<\/strong> <strong>eighteen new courses and learning materials of STEAM<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s Degree Programme in participating Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions.<\/li><li> <strong>To train<\/strong> <strong>more than 500 lecturers and academic staff <\/strong>of Ukrainian Teacher Training Institutions to guarantee the exploitation and sustainability of developed courses and design of brand-new ones. For that purpose, European university\u2019s teams prepared training sessions for academic staff of their Ukrainian colleagues. In March 2019 University of Deusto team (Dr. Arantza Arruti, Dr. Maria Luz Guenaga, Dr. Mariya Yarosh and Olga Dziabenko) shared their knowledge on the several topics including: school teachers as entrepreneurs,&nbsp;open schools for open society, inquiry and computational thinking skills and methods its development, and&nbsp; competence building and intended learning outcomes measurements.&nbsp; 52 participants of this activity from Ukrainian university became agents of the development in their home institutions bringing new methodology and instrument for their instruction. <\/li><li><strong>  To settle \u201cInnovative classroom\u201d<\/strong> in each Ukrainian universities as a 21<sup>st<\/sup> Century learning space based on best European practices. If school and university administration would like to plan and design the innovative learning space &#8211; the business board game is developed to support and inspire them.  <\/li><li> <strong>To establish<\/strong> <strong>effective cooperation<\/strong> between European and Ukrainian Pedagogic universities, school teachers, and their associations strengthening internationalization, knowledge transfer, and academic capacity. <\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"textColor\":\"vivid-red\",\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size has-vivid-red-color\">In order to achieve these objectives the MoPED will perform the following tasks:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li> <strong>to produce<\/strong> <strong>3D map,<\/strong> which will merge education trends, pedagogical methodology and approaches, pedagogical technology, and education institutions in Ukraine, at the same time pick the best products of European Higher Education; <\/li><li> <strong>to deliver a guide<\/strong> to build teaching and academic staff profile on digital competences; <\/li><li><strong> to build MoPED ecosystem <\/strong>communicating with main education actors in the country.
