Defensor apasionado de la \u00f3pera en ingl\u00e9s, ha sido el responsable de la reevaluaci\u00f3n de incontables composiciones de \u00f3pera inusuales, en producciones y grabaciones galardonadas con numerosos premios, y en las que han participado algunos de los mejores cantantes internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maestro de versatilidad, influencia y entusiasmo \u00fanicos, apasionado de la unidad de la interpretaci\u00f3n en la \u00f3pera, David ha hecho realidad el consejo recibido en su juventud: \u201cCada m\u00fasico comenz\u00f3 porque le gustaba mucho la m\u00fasica.
