Nearly half a thousand international students<\/strong> were received on September 3 at the Bilbao <\/strong>campus of the University of Deusto<\/strong>, where they will carry out their studies during the first semester of the academic year, thanks to exchange programs<\/strong> such as Erasmus+, Bilateral Agreement or SICUE.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 478 new students <\/strong>come from the following countries<\/strong>: Germany, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Ecuador, Slovakia, United States, Philippines, Finland, France, Greece , Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Morocco, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Peru, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Turkey.

The event was attended by Juan Mar\u00eda Aburto<\/strong>, Mayor of Bilbao<\/strong>, Andoni Iturbe<\/strong>, Director of Culture of the Diputaci\u00f3n Foral de Bizkaia,<\/strong> Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Guibert<\/strong>, Rector <\/strong>of the University of Deusto, and Alex Ray\u00f3n<\/strong>, Vice-Rector<\/strong> of International Relations. The Rector of the university, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Guibert, reminded them the skills they will learn in this experience<\/strong>, such as “tolerance” or “decision-making and problem-solving skills” are the ones to which “companies give more value today.”
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A reception ceremony <\/strong>was also held on the San Sebastian<\/strong> campus, in which 155 international students<\/strong> from 24 countries<\/strong>, discovered, through the different university officials<\/strong>, the services offered by the campus, the facilities and the academic aspects related to each of the faculties.

Cerca de medio millar de estudiantes internacionales<\/strong> fueron recibidos el pasado 3 de septiembre en el campus de Bilbao <\/strong>de la Universidad de Deusto<\/strong>, donde llevar\u00e1n a cabo sus estudios durante el primer semestre del curso, gracias a programas de intercambio<\/strong> como Erasmus+, Acuerdo Bilateral o SICUE.

Los 478 nuevos estudiantes<\/strong> proceden de los siguientes pa\u00edses<\/strong>: Alemania, Argentina, Austria, B\u00e9lgica, Brasil, Bulgaria, Canad\u00e1, Chile, China, Colombia, Corea, Croacia, Dinamarca, Ecuador, Eslovaquia, Estados Unidos, Filipinas, Finlandia, Francia, Grecia, Hungr\u00eda, Irlanda, Italia, Jap\u00f3n, Kazajist\u00e1n, Letonia, Marruecos, M\u00e9xico, Pa\u00edses Bajos, Polonia, Per\u00fa, Reino Unido, Rep\u00fablica Checa, Rusia, Suecia, Suiza, Taiw\u00e1n y Turqu\u00eda.

En el acto participaron Juan Mar\u00eda Aburto<\/strong>, alcalde de Bilbao<\/strong>, Andoni Iturbe<\/strong>, director de Cultura de la Diputaci\u00f3n Foral de Bizkaia<\/strong>, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Guibert<\/strong>, Rector <\/strong>de la Universidad de Deusto, y Alex Ray\u00f3n<\/strong>, Vicerrector<\/strong> de Relaciones Internacionales. El rector de la universidad, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Guibert, les record\u00f3 que las habilidades que van a aprender en esta experiencia<\/strong>, como \u00abla tolerancia\u00bb o la \u00abcapacidad de decisi\u00f3n y de resolver problemas\u00bb son a las que \u00abm\u00e1s valor dan las empresas hoy en d\u00eda\u00bb.

En el campus de San Sebasti\u00e1n <\/strong>tambi\u00e9n se celebr\u00f3 un acto de recibimiento<\/strong>, en el que 155 estudiantes internacionales<\/strong>, procedentes de 24 pa\u00edses<\/strong>, conocieron, a trav\u00e9s de los diferentes responsables universitarios<\/strong>, los servicios que ofrece el campus, las instalaciones y los aspectos acad\u00e9micos relacionados con cada una de las facultades.
