The Centre for Applied Ethics of the University of Deusto intends with this blog to contribute to the fulfillment of its mission of analyzing and fostering individual and collective practices that promote social justice, peaceful coexistence, dignity, and the right of people to fully participate in the social, political and economic life of their communities.
We are convinced that knowledge transfer, public debate of research results, as well as free dissemination and discussion of opinions on issues of public ethics are necessary to carry out our mission.
This blog contains two different types of content:
- The “News” section gathers information about the Centre for Applied Ethics. Its purpose is to give publicity to the projects, publications and activities of the Centre.
- The “Views” section offers opinion articles of the Centre’s researchers. Unless expressly stated, the Centre for Applied Ethics is not responsible for the opinions of its members.
