FabAcademy is a Digital Fabrication Programme run by Neil Gershenfeld, from MIT, which provides advanced knowledge in digital fabrication. This course is a fast and practical experience in which students will develop a new project each week using the various existing and shared technologies at FabLab. The FabAcademy is a 5-month commitment by students, from January to June, and many on-site hours of development practice at Deusto FabLab. Global classes, streamlined from MIT, will be held every Wednesday from 9:00 -12:00 EST, and they require at least 30 weekly student workload.
Deusto FabLab has taken part in the FabAcademy programme since 2016. You can find additional information on this programme at its official website: www.fabacademy.org. For further information on how to register, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
