Roc\u00edo Garc\u00eda-Carri\u00f3n<\/a> es investigadora Ikerbasque Research Professor en la
Universidad de Deusto, pertenece a la Facultad de Educaci\u00f3n y Deporte, y al equipo de investigaci\u00f3n eDucaR (Deusto Education Research).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ha sido investigadora Marie Sklodowska Curie en la Universidad de Cambridge, donde tambi\u00e9n ha sido miembro de Wolfson College e investigadora visitante en Harvard University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su investigaci\u00f3n se centra en el estudio de intervenciones educativas basadas en evidencias cient\u00edficas, entornos dial\u00f3gicos de aprendizaje, inclusi\u00f3n de grupos vulnerables y participaci\u00f3n de las familias y la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre sus logros m\u00e1s destacables se incluye la direcci\u00f3n del proyecto Horizon Europe SCIREARLY <\/a>(https:\/\/scirearly.eu\/<\/a>), con la participaci\u00f3n de 10 pa\u00edses europeos y financiado con cerca de 3 millones de euros dedicado al estudio de pol\u00edticas y pr\u00e1cticas basadas en evidencias para mejorar el rendimiento acad\u00e9mico y reducir el abandono escolar temprano. Ha dirigido y participado en numerosos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n nacional e internacional, como el proyecto Horizon Europe IMPROVA<\/a> para promover la salud mental entre la poblaci\u00f3n adolescente en los centros educativos. Cuenta con m\u00e1s de 70 publicaciones cient\u00edficas, art\u00edculos en revistas de impacto, libros y cap\u00edtulos de libro. Es Secretaria General de la World Educational Research Association (WERA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roc\u00edo Garc\u00eda-Carri\u00f3n is an Ikerbasque Research Professor at the University of
Deusto. Where she is affiliated with the Faculty of Education and Sport, as well as the eDucaR (Deusto Education Research) research team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has previously held a Marie-Sklodowska Curie research position at the University of Cambridge, where she was also a member of Wolfson College and a visiting researcher at Harvard University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her research focuses on the study of evidence-based educational interventions, dialogic learning environments, the inclusion of vulnerable groups, and the involvement of families and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of her most notable achievements is leading the Horizon Europe SCIREARLY project<\/a> (https:\/\/scirearly.eu\/)<\/a>, which involves 10 European countries and has been funded with nearly 3 million euros. The project aims to study evidence-based policies and practices to improve academic performance and reduce early school dropout rates. She has directed and participated in numerous national and international research projects, including the Horizon Europe IMPROVA project,<\/a> which promotes mental health among adolescents in educational settings. She has published more than 70 scientific papers, articles in high-impact journals, books, and book chapters. Additionally, she serves as the General Secretary of the World Educational Research Association (WERA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
