On the 19th of September the Leisure Studies Institute of Deusto’s University organized the 1st Entrepreneurship Conference in the area of Leisure and Events.
More than 100 participants (students, alumni, entrepreneurs…) took part in the event motivated by the interest in entrepreneurship.
Cristina Ortega, Director of the Leisure Studies Institute, opened the conference and Amaia Makua, Head of the Master in congress, events and fairs organizations of the Institute was the moderator.
The first speech was held by Arantza Arruti, Ingenio and EKin-It Entrepreneurial and Innovation Programmes Coordinator. The main idea of the speech was the importance of the attitude and capability of an entrepreneur.
Afterwards the Responsible of the Incubators in Deusto Entrepreneurship Centre Raul Onaindia, made an approximation to the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in the Basque Country.
To finish off, three entrepreneurs, Pedro Ruiz Aldasoro (Creativity Zentrum), Iñigo García Valenzuela (GoBasquing) and Alberto Larrucea (Innevento) shared their experience in becoming entrepreneurs.
