On the 6th and 7th of October 2010 in Brussels, the European project “Artists Moving & Learning” will be having its final conference. This major international event will offer you the opportunity to learn about the project’s comparative study analysing the impact of mobility of artists in ten EU Member States: Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain and the UK.
Project Methodology: The “Artists Moving & Learning” partners have conducted interviews with artists from the performing and visual arts from the above mentioned EU countries. Their analysis of the interviews looks at different traditions of artistic mobility, studying their potential of learning effects to prepare artists for innovative leadership within the creative industries.
Partners: The “Artists Moving & Learning” partnership is composed of an interesting mix of SMEs, academic institutions and cultural institutions. All have experience in EU projects, and all are committed to the highest standards in their respective fields of expertise. The project partners are ENCATC (European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centres, Belgium), who is also the project leader, Mediana (Belgium), the project coordinator, Inteatro (Italy), Fondazione Ater Formazione (Italy), Deusto University (Spain), Budapest Observatory (Hungary), CPPC (Centre of Professional Training in Culture, Romania), and PACTE (Politiques publiques, Action politique, France).
